Beta #3 & BFNs

My 3rd Betas came back on Tuesday. They dropped to 30-something. Isn't it funny that you hear only half of what they say? I just heard her say 30... and my heart sank. I didn't need to hear the second half of the number.

I got a BFN this morning on an HPT. I guess i'm going to start bleeding soon.

Baby Almond. Even if it was only for a week, we dreamed about you and loved you. We will continue to love you. I know your big sister will take good care of you.

Beta #2

When I called my doctor letting them know I got a + HPT, they gave me the option. I could have one beta drawn on the 10th.. or to go in that same day and get a series of betas drawn.

Since I know too much about betas, I decided to get my betas drawn.

Beta #1 came back as 21. I was even shocked that it registered on my HPT.
Beta #2 came back as 56. It came back with a doubling hour of 50!!! That's pretty good.

I am a little nervous that the numbers are still kind of low. I'm getting another draw on Monday and I'm hoping to see a really really high number!

I do have to say, that this is kind of starting to feel real. It hit me today that I should have gotten my period on Wednesday or Thursday... meaning that it really really is true. Sometimes it's hard to believe a little line or the word "pregnant" on a stick.

4 weeks

Pregnancy: 4 weeks {according to the date I ovulated}

Weight Gain: I have not had the official weigh in with the doctor, but i'm going to be keeping a close eye on it at home. I'm going to weigh myself every day, and from yesterday to today I stayed the exact same.

Sleep: Fine :) Well, we've needed a new bed for the past few months... so besides the back aches from that. Sleep due to pregnancy is fine. No real vivid dreams yet.

Gender: LOL If there was a way to find out the gender this early i'd faint!

Names: I *think* we're going to use our boy name from our last pregnancy. I *think* we might have already agreed on our girl name a few months ago. It's still way too early to think about it though.

Feeling: GREAT!! Still in shock, but doing great. I'm getting nervous for my numbers, I need some great big doubling dust!!

Health: I have some breast tenderness and the constipation started. Other than that i'm doing well! Like I mentioned with weight, i'm going to be keeping a close eye on that and doing my best to eat extra extra healthy.

Movement: I wish!

Next Appointment: Friday, February 4th for more blood work.

Today is the first day...

After almost 8 months of TTC, and at 13dpo, I finally got my BFP! Aurora is finally going to be a big sister!! I was honestly starting to lose as little hope on ever seeing that word again. As soon as that word popped up, a mixed batch of emotions filled up. There was a little crying, and little nervousness, a little shock and a whole lot of happiness.

I already went and got my blood drawn, and I really hope to hear the results soon. Will I need to go on progesterone like I did before? Will my betas double? When is my doctor going to offically call my due date?

Right now, according to my LMP, i'm due October 4th. According to when I ovulated, i'm due October 12th. I'm going with the 12th for now, until I hear other wise from my doctor.

Well here goes. Today is the first day of nerve-wracking excitment. Will baby Almond be our take home baby?
